Integration and Custom Add-ons

Maintenance Connection CMMS allows you to achieve greater efficiency and productivity. Connecting Maintenance Connection to your other technology platforms through integrations and add-ons can enhance the power and scope of each connected system. You can connect to various control systems like Plant or Building Control Systems, SCADA Systems, HR, Accounting and ERP Systems.

Integration to various systems

MC Web API

If a customized integration does not fit your needs, the MC Web API gives you and third party providers secure access to retrieve and update data in your Maintenance Connection database. Utilize the REST service to query work orders, parts, purchase orders and virtually any data managed within the system. Develop HTTP-based procedures to update this data real-time to keep Maintenance Connection in sync with other company systems.

Examples of common uses for the API include:

  • Send Inventory and Purchasing data to Accounting or ERP systems
  • Synchronize data with SCADA systems
  • Interface with HR system

MC Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Add-On

The MC LDAP automates and simplifies user management by integrating user access to Maintenance Connection with a customer’s Active Directory service. After a user completes an initial network login at the start of their day, they can access Maintenance Connection directly via a desktop screen icon or via their Internet Explorer Favorites list, without having to re-enter their username and password.

A comprehensive range of sync options ensures user updates are completed at the intervals specified. As new users are added into an Active Directory service they are automatically added to Maintenance Connection with the correct Access Group. Should existing users be removed from Active Directory their status is set to “Inactive” in Maintenance Connection.

My Dashboard

The Dashboard gives you an overview of how your company and organization is running. You will be able to view Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as Backlog Hours, Mean Time Between Failures, and Response Times.

The Dashboard also allows you to quickly view reports that have been previously defined in the Report Writer.
